About Loai Eid
Dr. Eid is the only American Board certified Pediatric Nephrologist in Dubai and Northern Emirates. He has significant experience in managing acute and chronic kidney diseases in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Specifically, he has initiated all forms of renal replacement therapy in critically ill patients at PICU. This includes initiating continuous renal replacement therapy, acute hemodialysis, and therapeutic plasmapheresis in several patients.
· Dr. Loai Eid is a consultant and head of pediatric nephrology department at Dubai Hospital - Dubai Health Authority, UAE since 2016.
• He is working as a part time Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist at Mediclinic City Hospital and Al Zahra Private Hospital Dubai since 2014. He recently joined Saudi German Hospital as well in August, 2018.
• He completed pediatric residency and pediatric nephrology fellowship from the Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC, USA in 2013. He is certified in both the American Board of Pediatric and the American Board of Pediatric Nephrology.
• He obtained Master of Science in Health Science - Clinical & Translational Research - from George Washington University, Washington DC in 2013.
• He is serving as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Dubai Medical College and he is adjunct Instructor in Pediatrics at The George Washington University.
• He has published articles in well-known International journals.
• He has participated in several national and international conferences in both posters and presentations.
• Among others, he is a member of the International Pediatric Transplant Association, IPNA, the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• He is actively involved in clinical researches nationally and internationally.
